Vaccinations

What VaccinationsDo Children Need?

Birth - 2 months: Hepatitis B

2 months: MP or DPT (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, Hepatitis B, OPV or IPV (Polio), Hib (Haemophilus influanzae type b)

4 months: DTaP or DPT, Hepatitis B, OPV or IPV, and Hib

6 months: DTaP or DTP, and Hib' 6-18 months: Hepatitis B 1215 months: Hib, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)

1 Z-18 months: DTaP or DTP, OPV or IN and Vaiicella (chickenpox)

4-6 years: MP or DTP, OVP or IVP, and MMR 11-16 years: Td (tetanus, diptheria booster)

All parents should carry a copy of their child's immunization record card with them at all times Immunizations am available from local health departments at little or no cost as well as from private doctors.

No one will he denied vaccination at a local health department because of inability to pay.

It's important that children are immunized on time to fully protect them against early childhood diseases.  'Alternative schedules' are possible. Consult your medical services provider for details.
