Michigan Education Assessment Program (MEAP)
is given annually in grades 3 through
8. These assessments are bases on the
Michigan Curriculum Framework and are
used as measures of accountability on
the Michigan Education Yes! program.
MI-Access
is designed for students for
whom the IEP Team has determined that
the MEAP assessments, even with
assessment accommodations, are not
appropriate for the student.
These assessments are given annually
and the results assessments are also
part of the Education Yes! program.
Michigan Merit Exam (MME)
the new high school assessment will be
administered for the first time in March
2007.

Michigan Merit Award Eligibility

This scholarship award was based on high
school students achieving the Proficient
Level on the HS MEAP test. This scholarship
award has been replaced by the Michigan
Promise Scholarship beginning with the Class
of 2007.
