National Assessment Governing Board
The National Assessment Governing (NAGB) sets policies for the
National Assessment of Educational Progress.
National Association of Test Directors
Primarily the information is about the organization itself, but

National Council of Teachers of English
Looks like a good site! Under "Departments" there is a
subheading "Teaching Ideas," which if clicked on shows a
further subheading of "Assessment." Within
"Assessment" there are some "war stories: from teachers
and some ideas on assessment techniques. There is no "links"
section, but under "affiliates" there are a lot of e-mail
addresses and links by state.
North Central Association
NCA is a non-governmental voluntary membership association of
educational institutions located in a 19-state region that includes the
Navajo Nation and the Department of Defense Dependent Schools. As a
regional accrediting association, NCA is recognized by the United States
Department of Education.
NCA CASI is an accreditation division of
AdvancED, the
parent organization for the North Central Association Commission on
Accreditation and School Improvement
(NCA CASI), the
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation
and School Improvement

Northwest Regional Education Lab
This is the home page of the Northwest Regional Education Lab in
