Bovenschen School

The first school wide literacy theme of the year focused on countries. Our quad learned about Ireland through various literacy activities. Students read the book "What Makes a Rainbow" at circle time and used pictographs/digital photos to make connections and sentences from the story. For art, students painted their hands the different colors they learned about in the story and made a class rainbow out of handprints. Along with the circle time story and art project, students participated in other literacy activities including handwriting, coloring, and matching all related to the Ireland theme. The class had a wonderful time learning and participating in the first school wide literacy theme of year!
