bullet  Community Based Instruction (CBI)

Our students have multiple opportunities to participate in Community Based Instruction.  This allows students to practice skills taught in the classroom in the community.  Students are offered a variety of experiences that increase pre-vocational, daily living, and recreation/leisure skills.  We are currently working at Firenze Restaurant, grocery shopping, going out to lunch, and bowling.

Firenze Restaurant

Students get the chance to do various jobs when we work at the restaurant.  We bag rolls, fill parmesan cheese and sugar containers, place bowls of butters and creamers on the tables, wipe down menus and booths, and prepare carry out containers.
