bullet  Pre-vocational Skills

Our students participate in a wide variety of Pre-vocational tasks inside and outside of the classroom on a daily basis.  Table work is designed to increase their ability to sort, match, assemble, package, and follow directions.  In addition, we collect and sort recycling and work at Firenze Restaurant two times per week.  This area of our Functional Curriculum prepares students to transition into Specialized Workshops after they complete school.

Recycling

We collect recycling around the school.  Students pick up plastic, aluminum, and glass recycling from designated classrooms.  Students then sort the recycling and bag it for pick up.  In addition, we collect paper recycling from various classrooms to shred and bag before recycling.
