In Room 5 -- We Have
Fun!!
In preschool,
the children need to be active participants
in their own learning. We achieve this by
creating numerous hands on activities and
through first hand key experiences. This
kind of learning nurtures children into
lifetime students because it is motivating
for them and they are able to have fun while
doing it!
Children
also need a chance to play! Play time is
their form of work. They need to explore
their environment, so they can start making
sense of it. They need to use trial and
error, so that they can start using their
problem solving skills. The more children
interact with their environment through play
the more connections their brain starts
making between what they are learning and
previous experiences.
