Bovenschen School

We took six athletes to the State Winter Special Olympic Games in Traverse City, MI again this year. All of our athletes competed in two snowshoe events and brought back some gold, silver, and bronze medals. We are very proud of all of them. This years weather was quite nice with a lot of snow and sunshine. In addition, to competing our athletes had a chance to participate in My Chance to Dance, go dog sledding, make arts and crafts, ride snow mobiles with the Wertz Warriors, and hang out in our wonderful Grand Traverse City Room. It was a great trip and we look forward to it again next year.
