Use of Ipads in Center
Programs
- The
use of Ipads is becoming
more and more popular
within our Center
Program buildings.
Center Programs is
supplying each building
with at least one Ipad
to use. These Ipads are
to be used for
instructional use within
the classroom and are
not meant to be used for
assistive technology for
individual students.
- Any
staff member using the
Ipads will need to fill
out the Ipad Use Policy.
Click the link for the
Ipad Users Guidelines.
- Ipads
that are donated become
property of the MISD and
will be configured per
MISD procedures and
policies. All donated
Ipads will need to be
approved by the Ipad Rep
and the Center Program
Technology Consultant.
- All
Instructional Ipad purchases must be
coordinated through the
Technology Consultant.
All
Instructional Ipad
purchases and donations
will need to include a
cover, either a Grip-It
Cover or a Griffin
Survivor Series cover.
Evaluation, Purchasing and
Downloading of Paid Apps
All apps are connected to a
specific Apple ID. For educational
purposes each app purchased goes to
a specific Ipad. One app, one Ipad.
Apps for education are not to be
synced. Synching of apps is in
direct violation of the Apple Volume
Discount Purchasing Program policy.
There is a four step process to
download paid apps for Center
Program Ipads.
