Early On - Macomb


bulletWho is eligible for Early On?

Eligible infants and toddlers include those birth to 36 months of age who have:

An "established condition" (i.e. a diagnosed physical or mental condition with a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay), including:

  • Atypical developmental disorders

  • Chromosomal anomalies/genetic disorders

  • Chronic illnesses

  • Congenital malformations

  • Inborn errors of metabolism

  • Neurological disorders

  • Sensory disorders

  • Severe infectious diseases

  • Severe toxic exposure

                 -or-

A developmental delay in at lease one area:

  • Adaptive (self-help)

  • Cognitive

  • Communication

  • Gross or fine motor

  • Physical (including hearing & vision)

  • Social/emotional

 

Early On services are family centered and are based on the family's needs and priorities.  Most are provided at no cost.  There is no financial restriction on eligibility for many Early On services.
