bullet  Community Assistance

The Education Project for Homeless Children and Youth is always looking for community assistance.  Due to limited financial resources we are often in need of the following donations to help our students:

  • Backpacks and school supplies
  • New and gently used books
  • New socks (child and adult sizes)
  • New winter hats, gloves and scarves (child and adult sizes)
  • Fast food and grocery store gift cards
  • Monetary contributions that are used to purchase gift cards so that students can get new clothing/shoes
  • Personal hygiene items

Due to storage space limitations please contact Kathleen Kropf, Homeless Liaison, for current student needs.  She is available for project presentations to school groups, PTO, or other community organizations at any time.  Please contact her for availability at 586.228.3490 or kkropf@misd.net
