ASK, Authors Specialist and Knowledge, provides students with the opportunity to interview an author or a subject specialist in the topic they are reading about in a novel. The program uses excellent children's literature, journal writing and interviewing to promote reading for understanding. The goal of this web site is to provide teachers with the background and information they will need to implement the program in their classroom. We will also share how we are using distance learning to enhance the program.

Special thanks to Dr. Raymond Kettel who designed this project and shared it with other educators.
