Legal Affairs

The Department of Legal Affairs provides legal information and advice on educational issues to administrators of Macomb Intermediate School District and its constituent districts.  Services include:

• Providing districts with information on changes in the law and legal issues affecting education.

• Assisting districts in addressing common legal issues that face school administrators.

• Rendering opinions on legal questions affecting school districts.

• Processing property transfer requests. 

• Complying with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
