bullet  Welcome to the Fundamentals Class page

Students are offered a basic blend of recognizing survival words/ money skills; time management; sorting and packaging various materials; working limited time doing custodial work at local churches; learning cooking skills in the classroom and participating in Community Based Instruction trips twice every month.

Fundamentals Classroom participates in Community Based Instruction twice a month. Here we are participating in a leisure trip to the bowling alley.

Money Skills are an important part of daily life and practiced in our class and out in the community on a regular basis.

Always having fun in Fundamentals. Happy Mardi Gras!

Fundamentals has three different work sites in the community. Our students are giving the opportunity to learn work and social skills they will need after they transition from Lutz School. First United Methodist Church and St. Louis Church are gracious enough to allow us to train our students in real life situations.

`
The pet store offers an opportunity for training our students in a retail environment along with learning to care for pets.
