Description: The booklet of approximately 120 pages
provides mastery exercises, (re) teaching, and enrichment to
arithmetic, percent, measurement, and important areas of
mathematics. The mathematics topics covered include graphs,
statistics and probability, perimeter, area and volume, geometry,
and algebra. For your convenience, every lesson is complete on
usually one, or occasionally two or three, full pages. Most
lessons have the following features: a descriptive lesson title;
preparatory numerical exercises; a worked-out example or
exposition; ample, interesting exercises; and, for ease of
checking, an answer column along the outside of the page. The
lessons are grouped by subject area and can be used as independent
units. This allows some units to be used in one grade or course,
and other units to be used in another grade or course. This allows
for a skill maintenance program that spans over grade levels |
