Certain paraprofessionals are required to
be certified, as a result of the No Child
Left Behind (NCLB) legislation. A

paraprofessional needs to be certified can

materials. If you are interested in taking
the test using the pencil/paper format, the

of Workshops and Testing Dates
Macomb ISD offers training for those
individuals interested in taking the ETS
Parapro Assessment. MISD also offers the
computerized version of the ETS Parapro
Assessment for paraprofessionals wishing to
take this test. Interested individuals can
sign up for the training workshop and/or the
test. Choose VIEW BY INTEREST, and
then choose STAFF DEVELOPMENT.
