Teacher:
Sandra Hopcian
I have been teaching at MISD since
1971. I hold a BA and MA from MSU as
well as a specialist degree from
Wayne State. I have taught in the
areas of: mild CI; MOCI and SXI at
various age levels and locations. I
taught in the Macomb Intermediate
Preschool Program for twenty-three
years and I hold the following
endorsements: early childhood;
curriculum resource consultant;
instructional technology and a
special education administration.

Angela: I have been employed
by the MISD as a Paraprofessional
for twenty years.
I have a passion for our students,
my own sister was in the SXI program
here at Glen Peters. I have earned a
Special Education Paraprofessional
Certification. I train annually for
CPR / CPI and diastat. I am
currently working towards a
Teaching Certification in Special
Education.
