  • Based on the Macomb County TMI/SMI Community-Referenced Curriculum Guide

    • Published in 1992

    • Designed for students whose impairments require a program different from the standard academic program

     

  • Aim of the curriculum is to help each student become a viable member of the community

    • Self management/home living, vocational, recreation/leisure, general community and functional academics are areas of emphasis

    • Framework provides for ongoing home, school, and community partnerships that best support each student's abilities.
