Instructions for
Using HyperSend
THE ROSES UTILITY "PREPARE FOR ISD SUBMISSION",
MUST BE DONE BEFORE EVERY HYPERSEND DELIVERY. THE ROSES UTILITY PREPARES
A NEW ROSES FILE FOR USE WITH HYPERSEND.
This
HyperSend Internet Delivery Process compresses and encrypts your file during
transmission in order to meet Medicaid Health Insurance Privacy Regulations.
1. Identify and single
click on yellow HyperSend icon:
. This triangular ("Superman"-looking) shield should be in the
bottom right corner of your windows system tray (to the left of the time).
If you do not see this icon, contact the MISD Medicaid
Office.
- When HyperSend menu pops-up click on "Send".
2. You will then be connected to the "SEND" screen of the HyperSend
web site. You must fill in the information for your ROSES file delivery
here.
- In the "To" box, type roses@misd.net
(type it exactly as it appears above)
- In the "Subject" line (immediately below) type "ROSES for
Medicaid".
-
In the "Message" box type a message if necessary
(optional).
3. Skip over the "Select the files you wish to send" box
4. DO NOT USE THE BROWSE BUTTON.
5. Make sure the "List of files that will be sent:" box is
empty.
6. IMPORTANT: DO
NOT click the [Send] button yet.
7. Under Advance Options _________________________:
- Check mark "Include files from my Outbox". This
is where the ROSES Utility placed the file you "Prepared for ISD Transmission".
NOTE: This ROSES Medicaid file disappears from your C:\HyperSend
Outbox directory as soon as it is successfully sent to HyperSend. You must re-create this file with the
ROSES "Prep for ISD Submission" utility before each
HyperSend submission.
- Under "Schedule delivery to occur", check that the circle to
the left of the word NOW is dotted.
NOTE: Based on your site's experiences with
sluggish network traffic during your regular work hours, you may want to select a
"Send" time at the end of your work
day. You then must keep your computer on overnight. The file
will thus be automatically sent at the time you specify while you are out of the office.
- Make sure that under "Repeat this delivery how often", check
that the circle to the left of the word ONCE is dotted.
- Make sure that under "Security measures for attached files",
check that the circle to the left of the word SSL
– encrypts all deliveries to/from the HyperSend secure server -- is
dotted.
8. When all the above has been completed and verified:
- Single click the [SEND] button at bottom of the screen.
WATCH THE SCREEN FOR CLUES ABOUT YOUR PROGRESS.
- In the lower right of screen, a box entitled "HyperSend Agent
Box" will appear. In a while, the message "Uploading
PC200x.MDB" will be displayed within the box. A 'gas-gauge'
will track the progress of uploading your file.
PLEASE BE PATIENT -
THIS PART TAKES A FEW MINUTES, AND DEPENDS ON LOCAL AND REGIONAL INTERNET
TRAFFIC CONGESTION.
- After the HyperSend agent box has disappeared, you will be taken to the
TRACK tab of the HyperSend screen. The "Status" column of your
most recent delivery will say "Pending".
9. HyperSend shifts automatically to the TRACK tab to allow you to check
the status of delivery. The HyperSend Agent will probably still be
working in the bottom right corner of your screen.
NOTE: A list of status codes and what they mean is on the lower part of the HyperSend
TRACK screen.
10. After the HyperSend Agent disappears, click on [UPDATE STATUS] button to ensure that the:
Status of "Pending" changes to "Ready".
This "Ready" status indicates that your file is ready for the MISD
ROSES Master to Pick-Up from the HyperSend Vault.
11. Be sure to click on the LOG OUT tab to log out of HyperSend after completion of sending your file.
12. You may use the HyperSend Icon Menu to check the status of your delivery
to ROSES. Click on the "Superman Icon" then choose TRACK from
the pop-up menu. Once connected to Hypersend, you can see the Status of your
Delivery. If Status is "Completed", it indicates that
ROSES picked up your delivery.
