 Mandatory Plan for Macomb ISD

The Mandatory Special Education Plan for Macomb Intermediate School Districts describes the delivery of special education services to all eligible handicapped children and youth throughout Macomb County.  Included are the local and intermediate responsibilities in the delivery of those services.

The Macomb Intermediate School District Special Education Plan complies with:
Michigan Special Education Law:
P.A. 451 of 1976 revised June 6, 2002 and September, 2004
and
Federal Law:
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 1997 (IDEA 97)

The Plan is developed through the cooperative efforts of local special education director, superintendents, parents of handicapped children, Intermediate School District administrators, consultants, and other related staff.
