Question

What kinds of special programs and services are available for my child?

 

Answer

The Macomb Intermediate School District and its local school districts operate a full continuum of special education programs and services, provided by certified special education staff members, which are appropriate to meet the range of needs of children with disabilities.

Further, it is emphasized that all children with disabilities are provided an educational program in the least restrictive environment. These programs and services are provided under the rule numbers and categories as specified in these Michigan Special Education Rules:
