The Dow Garden is a botanical garden that cultures plants that
will grow in central Michigan in landscape settings. Included in
this 110-acre garden is a rose garden, wildflower plantings,
rhododendrons, trees and shrubs. The plantings include herbaceous
perennials, tulips, and annual bedding plants. Holding this
landscape together is a 6-acre stream, pond and reparian system. A
new feature is a hands-on children's garden that is designed for
the young and young-at-heart to discover the world of plants and
how we relate to them.
