This sheep farm does shearing of wool, processing, spinning into yarn, weaving, knitting lessons, and lambing. Feeding of baby lambs in season (usually May). Sheep shearing days are in May and Oct. Groups of 6 or more by appointment only.

Working dairy farm. Kids will enjoy watching cows, chickens, geese, burros and many other animals. You can buy milk in bottles and great ice cream. Call to arrange tour including cow milking and milk processing. Each person taking the tour received a free ice cream cone.

Open Barn Days several Saturdays Spring to Fall

During "Open Barn Days" children take a hayride, milk a cow, and visit other animals. They also will see demonstrations on butter churning, crop harvesting, preserving food, making cheese and wool spinning.

This is a 150 cow dairy farm which processes its own milk and ice cream. It has a small store on site where you can purchase these products (the ice cream cones are huge!). An ice cream cone and chocolate milk are included with the tour Monday to Saturday only at 10:30am or groups by appointment.

Domino's Farm is committed to furthering academic and agricultural activities. It features over 100 animals, hay rides, animal demonstrations, rare breeds, picnic area and gift store. They also will accommodate birthday parties and have pavilions for bigger events. Animal shows on Saturday and Sunday at 1 & 3pm.

The Farm Center of Kensington Metropark offers children a chance to interact with the animals. During the spring and summer months children are sometimes able to see the animals giving birth.

In the spring this farm is full of chicks and ducks. Tours teach children about the incubation process, provide hands-on activities in the greenhouse and offers a hayride. In the fall there is a corn-husk maze , u-pick pumpkins, a haunted barn and many Halloween displays for younger children. For Spring or Fall tours call.

Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Learning Center is a modern working farm. They have a herd of dairy cows that are milked at 10am daily. They also have draft horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, rabbits, and more.
