Professional Development Opportunity Funds
Macomb Teachers
Recognizing the consequences of the recent state aid reductions,
the MISD has established a Professional Development Opportunity fund
to assist local districts in professional development.
The fund will do two things:
- reimburse substitute costs at your district's daily rate,
up to $100, for teachers attending MISD professional development programs and

subsidize workshop fees up to 75% of fees of
$50 or more for training in core academic areas
(eg. Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) and school improvement.
