Thank you for your interest in
Macomb
’s Secondary
Universal Design for Learning Project. This initiative is designed to
provide teachers with the tools and strategies they need to efficiently
and effectively differentiate instruction with technology, so that ALL
students can successfully complete the rigorous secondary school
curriculum.
This project is developed around a framework called
Universal Design for Learning or UDL. UDL is an educational
approach to teaching, learning and assessment that draws on brain
research and new media technologies to respond to individual learner
differences and interests. It also provides educators with a new and
effective way to capitalize on students' techno-enthusiasm, interests and
skills.
