The MISD maintains many sites including
multiple school buildings, an Auxiliary
and Preschool Service Center, a bus
garage and the Educational Service
Center.
MISD motor vehicles are primarily used
for building and grounds maintenance,
delivery services between and among all
21 districts and MISD facilities,
transportation for students with
disabilities to work training sites, and
motor pool needs.
The data provided does not include the
MISD’s 149 buses used to transport
students over 2.7 million miles per year
across the MISD's 512 square mile
service area.
