Event Description

Join us for an overview of the newly released MISD Indicators of High-Quality Literacy Instruction. 

The document:
· Supports the MISD Literacy Framework document
· Surfaces the minimum “standard of care” practices embedded within  Tier 1 literacy instruction
· Describes research-supported, observable teacher and student behaviors for many elements of the MISD Literacy Framework
· Can be used as a guide to plan instruction, learning activities and outcomes for improving student literacy

All registered participants will receive a copy of the MISD Indicators of High-Quality Literacy Instruction.

  
Target Audience: Elementary, Middle, and High School Principals and Early Childhood Directors. Literacy Leaders may attend with principal.
