Adding Subtitles and Bulleted List

Adding a Subtitle

We want our second slide to be our table of contents. So we want to add a subtitle of "Table of Contents."

  1. Click on the Text Box Icon found on the Drawing Tool Bar at the bottom of the PowerPoint Screen. The Icon is shown on the right.
  2. Click where you want to insert the text.
  3. A small box will appear. Type "Table of Contents". The box will expand to fit your text.
  4. If you need to reposition the Text Box, click on the border of the text box and drag it to the new location.
  5. Edit the text for size, color, font and style. See Editing the Title if you need help with this.

Adding a Bulleted List

You can easily add bulleted list to your presentation.

  1. After the words "Table of Contents" Press Enter or Return.
  2. Click on the Bulleted List Icon (At right) on the Format Tool Bar.
  3. Type the following items pressing Enter or Return after each item.
    1. Motto
    2. Governor
    3. Places to Visit
    4. State bird, tree, flower, etc.

Hint: If you want to start a new line. But dp not want to have a bullet, hold down the Shift Key while you press Return or Enter.
