Adding Images from the
Internet
PowerPoint can use images in Bitmap, JPEG,
and GIF formats. A lot of clip art comes with PowerPoint, but
you may wish to use the World Wide Web as an additional source for
graphics and images. Adding the clip art that comes with PowerPoint
is simple. Follow these steps:
|
Adding Clip Art
- From the Insert Menu scroll down to Picture and
select Clip Art. You can choose the image you want by
scrolling through the images, clicking on the categories
on the left, or doing a search for the title.
- Click on the image you wish to use and click
OK.
- Click in the center of the image and drag it to
the desired location.
- You may enlarge or shrink the image by dragging
one of the corned squares on the image. One is circled at
the right. Using the corners keeps the height and width
proportional. In this case I have used a map of Michigan
and enlarged it to fit my screen.
