WebQuest: Election '96

Part 2: A Focus on the Candidates


Scenario:

This November the people of the United States will elect a President for the next four years. You need to make a decision on how you might vote. What issues will determine how you vote?


The Task:

Your group will compare two candidates for President of the United States. This comparison might include their stand on political and social issues, as well as their campaign strategies and style.

Your group will need to decide how you will share what you have learned with your classmates. You may wish to consider one of the following or develop your own idea. You should get your teachers approval for your method of presentation.

Keep a log of your exploration. The log should include sources of information as well as your personal comments.
