Introduction

Clouds float across the sky everyday. You can use your imagination to describe the clouds in the sky. Let's see what clouds look like!

 

The Task

1. You and a partner will learn all about clouds.

2. Write 3 descriptive words describing clouds. (size, shape, color)

3. Find a song about clouds. Listen to audio. Write 3 main cloud forms.

4. Look at different types of clouds. Draw a picture of a cloud and label it.

5. Write down the address for a free safety weather coloring book.

The Process

1. You and a parnter will go to Dan's Wild Wild Weather Page to find what are clouds? Write on a separate sheet of paper What are clouds ?

2. Click on Cloud Boutique go to Cloud Classification to find 3 descriptive words to describe a cloud. (size, shape or color)

3. Go to Resources click on Meteorology A to Z. Find a song about clouds. Listen to audio. Write 3 main cloud forms.

4. Go to Resources click on Clouds and Precipitation. Look at four different types of clouds. Draw a picture of one of the clouds. Try to label your cloud.

5. Go to Meteorology A to Z click on Stuff for Teachers/Parents. Find the address for a free safety weather coloring book.Write down the address.
