SWIFTPENS
The need for improved writing proficiency
among high school students is significant.
Writing well is not just an option for
students---it is a necessity. Along with
reading comprehension, writing skill is a
predictor of academic success and a basic
requirement for participation in any higher
education endeavor and/ or in civic life.
Teachers who attend this training will
receive a best practice approach to assist
students with “Writing to Learn” and
“Learning to Write.” This user friendly
approach will be easily transferred into
practice by Middle and High School Teachers.
