MISDThe Macomb Intermediate School District provides service, support and leadership to 21 school districts in Macomb County. MISD provides curriculum support, technology assistance, special education services and a wide variety centralized services for the district’s schools. To learn more about MISD, click here. The GrantLessons Studied, Lessons Learned is a Math & Science Partnership Grant awarded to the Macomb ISD in partnership with Oakland University by the Michigan Department of Education. Funds are sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Education in compliance with "No Child Left Behind". Lessons Studied, Lessons Learned is focused on middle school mathematics. The goals are:
The MSP program is designed to increase the academic achievement of
students in mathematics and science by enhancing the content knowledge and
teaching skills of classroom teachers through partnerships between high-need
school districts and the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
