The Consultant for the Learning/Behavioral Support assists local districts with techniques that address students with behavioral management challenges.

The consultant ...

• Acts as a resource person for behavior management.

• Works cooperatively with staff to fully implement best practices for students in programs for the severely emotionally impaired.

• Plans and conducts in-service programs that highlight new behavioral strategies and interventions.

Currently Available Professional Development Training:

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI)
  Later this year, a 3 hour refresher course will also be offered.
