Explicit instruction is systematic, direct, engaging and success oriented, which promotes achievement for all students.  The Explicit Instruction resource by Anita Archer will be provided to further explore tools to implement explicit instruction in any grade level or content area. Participants will learn clear guidelines for identifying key concepts, strategies, skills, instructional routines and vocabulary routines to teach including designing and delivering effective lessons. We will look at these instructional behaviors and more that promote increasing modeling through the gradual release of responsibility while providing students with frequent opportunities to respond to increase student engagement.

Please Note: Most sessions are being planned as face-to-face, or a hybrid offerings. If needed, we are also planning fully remote professional learning sessions. If sessions are being offered remotely, the dates and times are subject to change.
