Ghandi said, “the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Teaching has always been and is now more than ever, one of the most difficult professions to serve in. In order to be at your best for the students and families you serve, it is important that you take care of yourself first. This session will first focus on how the “stress” of teaching can lead to “compassion fatigue” and “burnout” if you do not engage in proactive strategies and then will move into an easy and restorative yoga class incorporating breath and mindfulness practices. Presenter: Mike Croy
