Event Description
Equipping K-12 science teachers to create meaningful, local 3-D assessments that accurately reflect what students know and are able to do. In this workshop participants will:
- Analyze examples of high quality 3-dimensional assessment tasks including M-STEP released items
- Explore how to integrate DCIs, SEPs, and CCCs into meaningful assessment tasks
- Develop and/or modify current local assessments to be 3-D
- Align assessments with Michigan Science Standard Performance Expectations and local instructional goals for student learning
- Discover tools and strategies that support equitable, instructionally-aligned assessment
- Work with peers to exchange constructive feedback and enhance the quality of local assessments
$100.00 workshop fee
Day 1: February 4, 2026 from 8:30 A.M.-2:30 P.M.
Day 2: February 5, 2026 from 8:30 A.M.-2:30 P.M.
