Classroom Instruction that Works with English Language Learners is designed to help classroom teachers learn ways to help English language learners (ELs) or anyone in need of language development be actively engaged in general education classrooms. This professional learning session examines the nine categories of research-based instructional strategies first identified in Classroom Instruction That Works (Marzano, Pickering, & Pollock, 2001) through a filter of five stages of language acquisition. This training is a great compliment to the original Classroom Instruction that Works, or as a stand-alone!
