Join fellow science educators in this hands-on workshop focused on the Claim-Evidence-Reasoning (CER) framework, a powerful tool for supporting student thinking and scientific writing.  Over the course of both sessions you will explore effective strategies for introducing and scaffolding CER in your classroom, analyze student samples, and design prompts that foster deeper reasoning and evidence-based explanations.  Leave with practical tools and resources to enhance your students' scientific communication and critical thinking.
