Essential Foundations for Literacy Learning

Pathway 1 - Literacy for ALL

Target Audience for the following sessions:  Elementary Teachers, Special Ed. Teachers, EL Teachers, Literacy Coaches, Interventionists, and Instructional Leaders

Time for full day sessions:  8:30 A.M.-3:00 P.M.

Time for all half day sessions:  8:30 A.M.-11:30 A.M.

Time for all evening sessions:  4:30 P.M.-7:30 P.M.

The Reading Brain: Implications for All Including Students with Dyslexia

1 Day Training

Explore the science of how the brain learns to read and what that means for supporting all students, including those with characteristics of dyslexia.  With early identification, explicit instruction, and evidence-based literacy practices, students can strengthen these brain connections and become successful readers and writers.
