1. General Information Data
Most of the 127,000 students in the MISD service area attend schools in the 21 constituent public school districts. In addition, in 2022-2023, Macomb County worked with 17 charter schools and 33 non-public schools.
The MISD is the largest ISD in Michigan providing direct service to students from birth through age 26 with disabilities.
