Essential Components of Tier 1 Literacy Instruction

Pathway 2 - Grades K-2 and Specialized Educators

Target Audience for the following sessions:  Grades K-2 Teachers and Grades 3-5 Teachers, Special Ed. Teachers, EL Teachers, Literacy Coaches, Interventionists, and Instructional Leaders

Time for full day sessions:  8:30 A.M.-3:00 P.M.

Developing Strong Writers (K-2)

1 Day Training

Strong K-2 writing instruction lays the foundation for students to communicate ideas clearly, think critically, and become confident readers and writers.  Participants will strengthen daily writing instruction through oral language, shared and interactive writing, and sentence construction.
