*Bring one state standard you will teach & bring an assessment you have used to assess
Was creating a quality assessment part of your learning during your undergraduate/graduate work? When you design a unit do you start with the end in mind and build your assessment before you start your instruction? Do you ensure your assessments are balanced between standards, depth of knowledge, and the time you spend teaching the students the standards? If you answered no to any of these questions, this workshop may be for you. Assessment quality, design, and structure will be addressed throughout the evening. Participants will have the opportunity to apply the skills learned to a unit assessment you have used or created before the end of the workshop. Presenter: Emily McEvoy
