    Target Audience: All participants, including AP Coordinators, Principals, Assistant Principals, Central Office Administrators, Counselors and AP Teachers This interactive, hands on, FREE workshop is for those who will be involved with coordinating AP resources for teachers and students, ordering exams in the fall, and desiring to know about the new AP 2019-20 resources and test administration tools. Starting in 2019-20, schools will implement new AP annual processes and have access to new classroom resources and supports. AP Exams will be ordered in the fall (2019) via a new registration and ordering system and it will be important to have everything ready to go for teachers and students when school starts. We will explain the new AP resources and processes for the 2019-20 School year. We’ll explore the new tools for coordinators, streamlined registration process, and exam day tools. AP Coordinators will be able to bring their laptop and work on their school and be able to ask questions with College Board staff available. What to Bring: High School Master Schedule, AP Access code (emailed to principal in August) and a laptop computer

    Participants will have the opportunity to meet over lunch to discuss the book, Assessment Literacy for Educators in a Hurry, by W. James Popham. At each meeting, questions from the ASCD study guide will be used as a focus while chapters from the book are discussed. Participants can also attend the Macomb County AAREN meetings, which will directly follow each book study. In late September, participants will be able to attend a video conference with W. James Popham at the MISD.
