    Math Recovery Specialist: Part 1 (MRSp1) is a year-long professional development course that builds a high level of expertise in Math Recovery content and pedagogy. MRSp1 focuses on the teaching and learning of number concepts in the primary grades. This course is a blended learning experience that includes nine days of face-to-face learning along with: independent learning modules, virtual team meetings and support, and 1-on-1 coaching, and opportunities for collegial engagement.

    Target Audience: Macomb County GSRP staff and early childhood educators who currently use GOLD in the classroom AND HAVE A GOLD LOGIN. My Teaching Strategies GOLD is a seamless system for assessing children birth through kindergarten. Participants will learn/review the basic skills of the assessment system: Entering notes Assigning levels Printing reports Utilizing strategy information Authentic ongoing observational assessment is critical to planning appropriate learning expectations and helping children thrive!
