    This event is scheduled for 11:30am to - 3:00pm

    The Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs) are an integral part of K-12 science education and a foundational element of building scientifically literate citizens. Through the SEP Study Segments, teachers will participate in an evening of deep study focused on one of the SEPs and a full-day site visit where they will engage with the SEP in a hands-on, real-life context.

    MiSTEM and the Square One Education Network invite Career Technical Educators to attend the 2025 Innovative Vehicle Design Competition at Kettering University's Mobility Research Center!  Participants will engage with student competitors, network with CTE teachers from around the state, learn how to leverage grant opportunities with innovative hands-on projects, and much more!

Stay abreast of current science professional learning opportunities, updates, and other relevant information by joining the MISD Science Information Mailing List. Communications will be sent via e-mail, no more than twice per month.

    Target Audience: The cohort is open to all K-12 teachers in all subject area. You do not have to know anything about project-based learning to participate! Join us for this 3-day training to deepen your understanding of project-based learning and the impact it can have on student learning and engagement during this 3-day . Teachers are encouraged to attend with at least one other teacher whom they can co-plan and collaborate with throughout the year.
